Push your boundaries, but don't forget to hydrate.

Did you know that water is an essential pre-workout beverage? Without proper hydration you can have a decrease in strength and endurance during your workout. The American Council on Exercise recommends drinking 17 to 20 ounces of water two to three hours before beginning your workout, and another 8oz about 20-30 minutes just before you begin working out.
Before I begin I always like to drink at least 8oz of water 30 minutes prior to my workout.

I then follow up with a good stretch.
Today I will be doing a lot of cardio so I need to stretch to improve my performance and prevent the aftermath of sore muscles.

For those of you just starting your fitness journey, find a routine that works for you. With your doctors permission start off small. Do what you can do as long as it is challenging you. Each small change you make will lead to a very big gain. Every athlete or fitness guru all had a starting point. When you want to give up, remember why you got started.
Push It!
