Serenity In The Rainforest


 Today I visited a spot that I will describe as a serene indoor rainforest. The lush greens and the sounds of water trickling through the rocks made it the perfect place to just sit and relax. With all the hustle and bustle that we deal with on a daily basis it is very easy for our minds to be bogged down with stress, and worry. Did you know that the secret to relaxation is all in having a controlled mind. For example if you are in a peaceful environment and you spend the majority of that time worrying about this-and-that, then you will prevent yourself from entering into the state of relaxation. What I like to do to relax is first.... find a peaceful spot; your environment matters. Next I meditate. When you meditate you make room for silence. Mediation stills the mind, brings clarity and inner peace. Lastly, I perform gentle deep breathing techniques. Breathing deeply (gently) has a very calming influence on the mind. If you find yourself elevated in stress and worry, here's what you should do....find a quiet corner, dim the lights, sit, close your eyes, and just meditate.
Welcome in the silence. You will find that as you gently breathe in...
you are breathing in inner peace, and breathing out worry.
